Competition Results: January 2017 – IBJJF European Championships

IBJJF European Championships 2017

Competitors have spent the last month preparing hard for what has become the largest Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competition in the world with over 4000 athletes entered and now spanning over 6 days – the IBJJF European Championships with great results.

Tuesday saw Chloe take 3rd place in her division, digging deep to grind out a win against a tough opponent in the White Belt Female Heavyweight division. Congratulations Chloe!

Friday saw Hayley step up and take 2nd place in the Female Purple Belt Middleweight division with another gritty, determined performance to win via referee’s decision in a close match to secure her spot on the podium and making an improvement on her 3rd place result last time round. Congratulations Hayley!
